Producer Description
The Mauro Molino winery is built on a deep pride in preserving family land across generations. Mauro Molino, after graduating from the Alba Winemaking School, gained formative winemaking experience before returning to his native Langhe. There, he inherited vineyards from his father and established his cellar in Annunziata of La Morra, where he produced his first Barolo from the Conca vineyard. From the beginning, his devotion to Nebbiolo and the unique terroir of La Morra shaped his vision, leading to the production of renowned crus such as Barolo Conca, Barolo Gancia, and Barolo Gallinotto. His dedication to viticulture earned him recognition for crafting elegant, long-lived wines. Today, the estate covers 12 hectares, half dedicated to Nebbiolo for Barolo and the rest to Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, and a small amount of Roero Arneis. Tradition remains at the core of the winery, complemented by a constant pursuit of excellence. Mauro’s children, Matteo and Martina, have since joined him in the family business. Matteo, with his forward-looking approach, has introduced fresh ideas and innovations to enhance the quality and elegance of the wines while placing a strong emphasis on sustainability. Martina brings her passion for communication and an inquisitive spirit, helping share the winery’s philosophy with a broader audience. Together, the family continues to honor tradition while shaping the future, producing wines that reflect both their heritage and their dedication to the land.
